I want to wish a congratulations to my seniors this year. High school senior photos are so much fun. The Williamsburg area high schools offer traditional yearbook photos but booking a fun senior photo session outside of school provides you with some great memories and beautiful images. Selecting a package that comes with a hard cover, thick page album gives you a keepsake that your senior will cherish forever. Below are some of my high school senior images from this year.
Once in a while I like to take a model or few to destination shoot. Last week I took three high school seniors to Richmond to explore some vintage architectural venues. What great atmosphere we found in and around the Shockoe District. I absolutely love old buildings and narrow alley ways to envelope my subjects. The great textures from the stone and wrought iron are absolutely amazing. I recently expanded my venue range to include the greater Richmond area as possibilitie
It's official, the holiday season is underway. Now that we are into the month of November, it is time to think about family portraits. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a beautiful family portrait session done to use for your holiday cards this year? And what a great gift a framed portrait would be for family members. Also, gift certificates for a portrait session are available to give as gifts this season. It can be used for a family, headshot, high school senior, or any
Fall is here! You can smell it in the air and the leaves are starting to change up here in the Williamsburg and James City County area. I don't know about you but fall is my favorite time of year. Aside from everything pumpkin, I love the changing of the leaves and the cooler temperatures Since I have moved up to Williamsburg and transplanted my photography business to the peninsula, I have so enjoyed the leaf changing just a bit earlier. Fall foliage makes for amazing ba
Remember the excitement of dropping your roll of film off at the pharmacy? Or even better, having to wait in anticipation for them to be returned in the mail? Isn't it true that we live in an instant satisfaction world? How many of you have old black and white photos of your parents or you and your family when you were young? They may be tucked away in an old photo album that your mom or grandmother put together, including the blurry, out of focus ones of irrelevant objects
This season's seniors are really rocking the venues in the Williamsburg area this year. My senior photo session with Madison, a Jamestown senior, was really fun. I love the Merchants Square/William & Mary area as a backdrop using staircases, steps, stone walls and light posts that are readily available. Although Williamsburg does not have that true city/urban feel, the outskirts of Williamsburg's colonial area can offer a great alternative. Madison had on this amazing jumpe
Summer has winded down and it's back to school for our Seniors. You have to admit that becoming a Senior and knowing you are finishing school and a graduation is clear in sight is very exciting. I love to photograph High School Seniors because they are in such a celebratory stage. Capturing them at this time is youthful and inspiring! I do not limit my sessions to just the Williamsburg and surrounding areas of Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, but am open to travel with my sen
